2015 – First Met at Salem Bus Stand
We first met in 2015 at Salem Bus Stand. Gayathrie wore a pink chudidhar and Prabakaran wore a blue t-shirt with blue jeans. For the very first time, Prabakaran held her hand without asking to cross the road. On the bus, we took a selfie and sent it to Ramya, who instantly said: 'You both are made for each other!'
2017 – CSC Golu & Playful Taps
At the CSC Golu celebration, Prabakaran came up and prayed together with Gayathrie. Walking back down, as he put on his shoes, Gayathrie playfully tapped his head ('mandaila kottu vechen'). Gayathrie wore a red kurta with sandals, while Prabakaran wore a yellow t-shirt.
April 2023 – Wayanad Trip & Sweet Compliment
In April 2023, we met at Salem Bus Stand for our first group trip to Wayanad with friends. Prabakaran saw Gayathrie and said with a smile: 'You've changed a lot and look lovely 😜'. That trip started our routine of traveling together every two months!
June 2023 – Carmelaram Railway Station
On our second getaway trip in June 2023, we sat together at Carmelaram Railway Station late in the evening, having a quiet, deep, and memorable conversation that brought our hearts closer.
June 2024 – First Movie Date: 'Maharaja'
When Gayathrie moved to Bengaluru in June 2024, we went out for our very first movie date together—watching Vijay Sethupathi's 'Maharaja' at Phoenix Marketcity!
October 7–9, 2024 – Unspoken Feelings & 'Lubber Pandhu'
On Oct 7, Gayathrie courageously expressed her feelings, fearing only to lose a cherished friendship. Two days later on Oct 9, we watched 'Lubber Pandhu' together—our very first playful fight movie date!
Feb 2, 2025 – Love Under the Mask of Friendship
After Gayathrie moved to Chennai and met at Abi's wedding, on Feb 2, 2025 she fell deeply in love with Prabakaran and his family—showing endless care and love under the sweet mask of friendship.
May–Oct 12, 2025 – Kolukkumalai & Smart Birthday Proposal
After buying a ring in March and a trip to Kolukkumalai in May, Prabakaran made a brilliant, smart move: On his own birthday (Oct 12, 2025), with a clear mind and full heart, he proposed to Gayathrie!
June 20, 2026 – Engagement & The Wedding
Officially engaged on June 20, 2026 with family blessings, leading up to our holy wedding on October 25, 2026 at Kumar Mahal A/C, Dharmapuri!
